Mr. Hawkins’ practice at the Firm focuses on civil litigation, municipal property tax appeals and criminal matters.
Mr. Hawkins was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2018.
Mr. Hawkins obtained his B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Seton Hall University in 2010 and his J.D. from Rutgers Law School – Newark in 2015.
While in college and law school, Mr. Hawkins worked as a student clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office – District of New Jersey in both the Criminal and Civil Divisions. In 2009 Mr. Hawkins was awarded a Special Achievement Award from the U.S. Attorney’s Office – District of New Jersey for outstanding work done on a pilot program for a federal re-entry court aimed at helping people convicted of federal crimes become reintegrated into the community upon their release from prison.
Prior to joining the firm Mr. Hawkins served as a judicial law clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal Division under the Honorable Donna Gallucio, J.S.C.. He also served as an intern at the Newark Municipal Prosecutor’s Office where he had the opportunity to handle all aspects of cases including multiple trials. As an attorney, Mr. Hawkins has previously focused on cases involving landlord-tenant law and estate litigation.
